Hi! My name is Yajaira, and some people call me Yaya! I'm a passionate Medical Exercise Specialist transforming the lives of thousands of clients around Houston, Texas.  My goal is to help clients overcome chronic pain from injury or surgery and restore functional movements to improve their quality of life. I help people meet their wellness goals. I create a personalized exercise program that enhances healing because it is focused on each client's needs. I apply the golden rule in my practice, "treat others the way you would want to be treated". This is why I chose to study the human body in great detail. This knowledge enables me to administer prescribed treatments and truly personalize them according to the needs, challenges, and limitations of each client. 

I am a certified Harvard Traumatic Brain and Spinal Injury trainer as well as Certified Medical Exercise Trainer from the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehabilitation Professionals. With 26 years of experience, I am certified to customize complete post-rehab Medical Exercise Programs for more than 60 different conditions. Each of these customized programs will include a corrective exercise plan, performance enhancement training, nutrition, and wellness counseling.
